ZEITGEMAESS persuaded the German management team as well as the parent company in China to go along with the unusual concept of a hybrid, social media-friendly product launch within the framework of the MEDICA 2019 trade fair.
At the dizzying height of 168.5 metres, the entire circular visitor level of the Rhine Tower in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbour was rebranded in the customer’s product livery. A ‘Presentation ARENA’ with a panoramic view was constructed, a lighting concept in the corporate logo colour of red (also visible from the city below) was implemented, and everything from the food design to the #SelfieViewPoint was set up to be ‘instagrammable’.
The product itself was innovatively unveiled and presented during the kick-off as a hovering exhibit.
The 100 international guests were able to download the product information digitally from the event landing page immediately after the official presentation, using QR codes made available at the time.
